Book Review: Come Alive

THREE MEN.
THREE FORMS OF CONTRACEPTIVE.

A vasectomy.
A condom.
The pill.

One impossible word.

Pregnant.

All Yara wanted was to dive into her darkest desires with a man twice her age. Instead, she’s dragged back into a nightmare she never saw coming.

Haunted by secrets she thought were long since buried, Yara must confront her past to safeguard her growing family.

But this time she won’t have to face it–him–alone…

This is book two of Yara's Darkest Desires and wraps up the duet. Please note this is an MFMM, which means Yara will not choose between her men. The TWs can be found in the front matter.

My Review

I really enjoyed this conclusion to this duet. I felt like this book was stronger. It was really good.

Yara, Mateo, Kazi, and James have all grown closer as a group. Mateo growling mine will have you melting. I really liked him a lot. Yara still had things to work out but I felt like she had grown a lot from the first book. Her past comes to confront her.

Yara goes through a lot in this book. Luckily, she has three men to support her, so she does not have to fight her past alone. This duet was not about the spice but had a good depth of a story. This duet ended on a high note.
