Book Review: Beautifully Broken
I’m used to breaking quietly—hiding the pain behind closed doors. When my boss collapses in front of me, saving him becomes the first thing that makes me feel alive.
Alexander Knox is a powerful, kind, and beautifully broken soul, just like me. He asks me to move in with him—to help him navigate his new life—and I tell myself that it’s only temporary. Every touch, every smile, every whispered thank you blurs the line between caretaking and intimacy.
We’re both fractured and stitched together by pain, but proof that two beautifully broken souls can build something whole.
This is a dark romance with heavy triggers. Reader's discretion is advised.
My Review
Joselyn and Alex are two lost souls that needed each other like oxygen to survive. I love that despite what Joselyn was going through, she made her that Alex was well cared for. She was his rock and he, her armor. When it mattered the most, it was their love for each other that got them through to the other side.
Emily really outdid herself this time with this book. My whole body not just my heart was invested in this story. If you are a fan of Emily's work you are going to love this book.
