Book Review: Jingle Shells

I've never been romantically interested in anyone before. It just hadn't happened, and I didn't mind. Coasting through my idyllic island life as The Boat Guy with just my dog for company has suited me just fine.

Until her. Until one look into her warm brown eyes left me all at sea.

The studious British marine biologist doesn't know how I feel, but it's OK. I get to see her every day at the mermaid bar where she works part time, and enjoy my silent crush in secret.

But now the company sponsoring her doctorate in our country has reneged and withdrawn their funding for the crappiest reasons. It means her vital marine mammal conservation studies are over. It means she can't stay.

It means I'll never see her again.

Unless...

I step up and marry her.

But can I do that, without laying all my cards on the table and telling her she's the only one who's ever made me feel this way?

Jingle Shells is perfect for fans of marriage of convenience romance where he fell first, and includes grey ace representation!

My Review

I loved this final book in this series. Linc and Clem are the absolute cutest couple. Linc is the cinnamon roll husband that we all want. All the thoughtful gifts that he left Clem are great. Clem helped turn Linc from "vanilla" to "chocolate" flavored ice cream. He got a bit spicy.

I love how passionate that Clem is with the sea animal life. I don't blame her for getting so mad at the woman for touching mom sea turtle and her eggs. This mermaid hooked her Prince Charming!
