Book Review: Liar
A detective chasing monsters.
A husband haunted by guilt.
Detective Ryan Holloway is unraveling fast. Four women are dead, their bodies staged in ways that speak to something darker, something personal. As he digs deeper into the case, Ryan begins to see echoes of his own past.
But what begins as a hunt for a killer becomes a descent into madness, as Ryan finds himself circling the truth he's spent years burying. And the closer he gets to the truth, the more he begins to suspect…
He's not the hunter.
He's the prey.
A psychological thriller as gripping as it is devastating, Liar takes readers into the mind of a man at war with himself, and the secrets too monstrous to forget.
My Review
Ryan
He is a detective
He is a husband
He is prey
You want to read a book that will get in your head. You have to read Liar by Ryan Reid. Mind blown!! Talk about a psychological thriller. Strap yourself in or don't, as this book will have you on the edge of your seat!
This book is broken out into three Acts. You would think that as you get into the later Acts that things would be explained. In a way they do but at the same time, you the reader just get tangled up into the twisted mind games more. That is until the Final Act. Um, am hooked and going to need more books from Mr. Reid.
