She’s my best friend. And I want her.
Ruby’s my best friend and bandmate. The sister of my good friend, too. Which makes her “triple off-limits” to me. I’d even say she’s like a sister to me, if it weren’t for the unbrotherly dreams I’ve had about her since age sixteen.
But when Ruby drunkenly kisses me at a party to piss off her ex, the spark I’ve been working hard to snuff out for years bursts into a raging pyre. And now, I can’t stop obsessing about that kiss and yearning for another one.
In fact, after The Kiss That Changed Everything, I’m now determined to do whatever it takes to make Ruby mine, even at the risk of burning my whole world down.
My Review
I devoured this book, or I should say the audiobook. It is pure gold! A must listen. I listened to the Hate/Love duet on audiobook as well. This is the way to go from now on to experience Lauren's books. I got so much extra pleasure listening to this book.
It was great to see Savage and Lalia again so very much still in love. The rest of the group are great.
Kendrick and Ruby are the best. I could not get enough of them. Although their relationship was filled with lots of confusion. When Kendrick took Savage's advice on how to win Ruby over, I literally screamed and argued so loudly...DO NOT LISTEN TO SAVAGE!
The songs featured in this book are amazing. I will probably be doing a re-read or relisten of this book.
