Book Review: Stolen Chances

Stolen Chances Tropes:

  • Second Chance
  • Friends to Lovers
  • Suspense
  • Polyamory in a Small Town
  • Single Mom
  • Hurt/Comfort

Stolen Chances is the second interconnected standalone in the Citrus Cove Series. This book is full of spice, suspense, and swoony men willing to do anything for the woman they love.

A single mom, MMF small town romance with suspense.

Twelve years ago, I married the man of my dreams.

Or so I thought.

Now a single mom of twin boys, I’m doing my best to rebuild after everything fell apart. I juggle work and therapy and try not to burden those around me. My life is too complicated for love, right?

Colton Hayes and Sammy Harlow don’t seem to think so.

Colton was supposed to be the one. Even after all this time, the way he looks at me gives me butterflies. He’s always there for me, hotter than hell, and has been waiting for the day he’d get another chance with me.

Sammy has always been our friend. He’s quiet, mysterious, and full of all sorts of surprises. Did I mention he’s also my brother-in-law’s brother and should be off-limits?

The sparks between us ignite an all-consuming fire. For the first time in my life, I know what real love feels like. But when danger steps foot in our small town, I worry that nothing can keep us from getting burned.

Will the past steal our chance at the future we deserve?

My Review

This book is soooo yummy. I absolutely love Sammy, Colt and Sarah. They all just belonged together like Napolean ice cream! I loved this book so much that I could not stop reading it. In fact, I read and finished it in one sitting. This book is a must not miss read.

I already was rooting for Colt but then the addition of Sammy just took the relationship to the next level. The dynamics between these three was great. There was no jealously and it did not take them long before they were talking using words like "ours, them, they".

Clio really knocked it out of the park with this book. It is a winner. The only fault I could find with this book is that it ended.
