My Review
The first time I met Nikolai, I was hooked. It might have been the two times that he made Sofiya marry him or maybe it was the numerous times that he took care of Sofiya, cradling her in his arms.
"I'm an unfeeling monster, and ninety-nine percent of the time, that's true. Turns out, she the one percent exception."
While Nikolai is bossy, Sofiya is stubborn. The way that Sofiya would counter Nikolai at every one of his orders was entertaining. One of my favorite moments was Sofiya getting Nikolai to sit and watch Scream, the horror movie with her. Who knew that Nikolai is not a horror fan.
Two of the other characters that I became fans of are Eva. She is Nikolai's right-hand woman and Vadim. These two bickering at each other is hilarious. Vadim eating Lucky Charms dry out of the box won me over. He is a kid at heart. Give him any sugary cereal and he will be happy; this includes Fruit Loops.
I loved this book so much. It is a five star recommended read for sure!
