For nearly a hundred years, whispers of The Burning Man have circled the South, a demon who comes in the dead of night, one who can walk onto holy ground and engulf churches in Hellfire.

Somewhere down the dirt roads of southern Georgia, there's a woman aching to leave the corruption of her small town.

The Church is her Sanctuary.

But was she ever really safe?

My Review
I liked this novella. It was a quick read. The Burning Man is dark and dangerous. Just how I like my men or should I say Devil.

Jac definitely found herself in over her head when she stepped into the church and came face to face with The Burning Man. The way that the Burning Man was looking and touching Jac was hot. Yet, it was over too soon.

I wanted more. I would have liked the story to be a bit longer with more of a build up between The Burning Man and Jac before the "act". Personally, for me, it would have allowed me to become attached better to these two. Yet, I still liked this novella and if there was a full length story that extended, I would read it.
