Book Review: Painter's Obsession

"MM HORROR EROTICA"

I wasn’t supposed to feel this way about him. the man dating my sister. But no matter how much I try to focus on other women, my mind keeps circling back to him. It started as unease, an itch I couldn’t scratch, a feeling that there was something off about him. Then it grew... an obsession I couldn’t control.

Secrets aren’t meant to come into the light, and monsters should stay under the bed. I thought I was smart enough to keep my distance, but with him, logic vanishes. There’s no sense—only madness.

The deeper I dig, the darker it gets. He’s not just a man with secrets...he’s something much worse. And I’ve made one fatal mistake...stepping into his world.

Now, it’s not just about uncovering the truth. It’s about surviving it.

THIS IS NOT A ROMANCE.... THIS IS STOCKHOLM... TOXIC WITH AN UNCONVENTIONAL HAPPY ENDING.. THIS IS MORE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL HORROR EROTICA.

My Review

Gabriella and Byron are very close as siblings. It was really just each other. I mean Bryon even went to prison for his sister. I liked the dynamics that Bryon and Gabriella shared. It was endearing to see how protective Bryon is of his sister, even if at times she may not have appreciated it when it came to Ren.

Speaking of Ren...childhood trauma. What he endured as a child played a huge part into who he became as a person today. He has set his target on Bryon. To get to him he will go through his sister.

This book is broken out into three parts. The intro, the play, and the finale.  For me, I liked the first part but felt like the second and third parts were the strongest. It is where I felt the shift in the story with the intensity really pick up. I flew through parts two and three really fast. I need more! My thirst only grew after this book and I will be check out other books by Luna.
