Spilling the tea has never been so cozy… In the quaint town of Adenashire, Doli Butterbuckle, a people-pleasing sunshine dwarf, is content with her simple tea magic and circle of friends. It’s true she’s never quite lived up to family expectations, but life is just fine—until her parents arrive with an inherited dragon egg and a charming gargoyle harboring a secret stroll into her life. As Doli grapples with her newfound responsibility and discovers a long hidden side of herself, she must face an overbearing family, a sinister plot, and a mischievous dragon that refuses to stay out of trouble. But with the help of her loyal friends and newfound love, Doli embarks on a heartwarming adventure, revealing that embracing her true self is the most enchanting path of all. Book Review: Her Dark Salvation

Image
ANNA A made man in the Italian Mafia. An immortal blood demon. I never imagined he’d become my dark salvation. My midlife awakening wasn’t going as planned. I’d wanted to prove I was more than a mousey professor, that I could handle life outside the walls of academia. Turns out, I’d underestimated the real world. My new boss was arrogant, domineering, and dangerous, and he turned me into a live wire that sparked under his thirsty stare. But he wasn’t just thirsty for my body. He craved my blood. I should have quit, should have run away screaming. Instead, I ran right into Marco DeVita’s arms. MARCO Heritage. Family. Blood. The bonds that had tied me to the Boston underworld for almost a century were unbreakable. Or so I thought. Someone in my crew had been stealing from me, had betrayed our family. But to ferret out the snake, I’d needed an expert to find proof. Anna Barone was a distraction I couldn’t afford. Her brilliant mind, hot temper, and even hotter body made my fangs ache wi

Book Review: The Patron

Image
"The Patron captivates with a lush story told through dreamy verses. Dark and sensual, readers are submerged into the depths of powerful images and even more powerful emotions. Fevered thoughts and gorgeous shadows dance throughout these expressive lines, culminating in a memorable siren song." My Review I have read some poetry. The concept of this book had me intrigued. In addition, this book cover drew my eyes to it. This book is my first introduction to this author, but it will not be my last.  This is a short book but powerful. I was instantly draw into the story. It is told through the two different POV's...the female and male's. While the POV's are unnamed, I still felt an emotional connection towards them both. You could feel the emotions that they both experienced through the relationship.

Book Review: DOMcember

When co-workers Taylor Anderson and Spencer Pollard decide to explore a friend-with-benefits agreement, neither one is prepared for the gift that collars them into submission with an unexpected Christmas kinky twist. My Review This novella is one quick and spicy read! Readers who love a short read, should pick up a copy of this one now. This novella makes the perfect stocking stuffer read. What I love about Stella is that she writes her characters as mature and older in live. They are wiser but this does not mean boring. Nope. The second time around is the charm.  Taylor and Spencer are adorable. The way that they flirted with each other was both sweet and heat. They had a bit of awkwardness in the beginning, but they quickly got over that fast. Each intimate encounter was HOT. Um, that one scene in the restaurant!

Book Review: Monstrous Grave

SHE'S HIS. SHE JUST DOESN'T KNOW IT YET Five years ago, he left me in the form of death, a monstrous grave that shattered everything I was. With my foster brother gone, I’m navigating a dangerous criminal underworld, driven by a thirst for vengeance. Forced into a reluctant alliance with a masked biker from the enemy cartel, Viper García is every bit the monster the town deems him to be. Despite his claimed hatred, Viper invades my nights, a haunting presence I can’t escape. I’m drawn to him, craving his touch despite the danger he radiates. But as the stakes rise, I discover Viper isn’t who I thought he was. Beneath the mask lies a betrayer with a shocking secret that will change everything I know about my past and present. He claims I’ve always been his, and will stop at nothing to make me realize it. Author’s Note:  Monstrous Grave is a dark stalker romance. Full trigger warning inside the book. My Review This book was definitely giving me the dark and gritty stalker vibes

Book Review: The Light in Hades

Image
The Light in Hades is the latest romantic fantasy novel by author Elise Nelson. Correlia of Olympus was “gifted” the destiny of becoming Persephone, the goddess of nature and spring. As every Great One is told, she must follow the path appointed to her or the world will be off-balance. Beneath Mt. Olympus, Theron of Tartarus has been groomed to become Hades, the god of the Underworld. Despised by everyone on Olympus and tormented by his mentor, he has only known a life of abuse and despair. The two were never meant to cross paths, but when Theron is sent on a mission to Mt. Olympus, he finds the goddess who is meant to be his enemy and his greatest opposition. One encounter is all it takes for everything to change. Now, the sheltered Corre finds herself in a position she never could have falling in love with the God of Death and questioning everything. Even her destiny. My Review I really enjoyed this book. The characters as well as the storyline and world building that the author cr
