My Review
I have not read a book this huge in a long time. In fact, this is not a book but a tome. Although, it did not feel as long due to the author's writing. I was instantly transported within the pages of this story. Instant emotional connections were made between me and the characters. The turmoil that Teleo was experiencing was felt.

While Teleo is my favorite in this story, I did like his apprentice Jesum and the heir to the throne Kaspari, who joined Teleo and Jesum on their journey. What a journey it was too. It was full of action and adventure. I got vivid images of everything as if a mini movie playing in my head. Readers of fantasy books will want to check out this book.
