My Review
In regards to techno thrillers, this is a good one. It had the futuristic vibes. The dynamics between Matt and Charles were a bit intense. Yet, I will say that the intensity built up and grew stronger as the story progressed until the end when it left the reader hanging on for book two. Yet, to be honest, I struggled to find a strong connection to either Matt or Charles. They were both strong men in presence but at times I dozed off.
Mr. Waldron does bring the action as well as the intensity. I will give him that as the story kept moving along nicely. Back to the techno thriller aspect of the story. There was some unbelievability to the story but that is what kind of makes this type of thriller. I will say that I did read book two and a switch was flipped and I liked that book better.
