Once Upon a Summertime

She's looking for her big break. She never imagined it would depend on a blast from her past. Managing the Value Lodge in her hometown was not what Anna Gordon had in mind when she set out in the hospitality industry. But it's a safe choice for a young woman starting out her career.

Then, out of the blue, she gets the opportunity of a lifetime: a chance to reinvent herself and reinvigorate her career by moving to New York City. She applies for a management position at a stylish new hotel, The Rothsberg. But the city is full of surprises--not the least of which is discovering that Sean O'Neil, a once-upon-a-time crush, has applied for the very same position.

This sweetly romantic tale of dreams come true takes you through the storied streets of New York City--and into the depths of the human heart.

Review by Blanche Mancuso

This is another new to me author. I thought the author brought such life to the story and NYC. Anna is a sweet girl that matures as the story moves along. You will want to read about this small town girl's experience in NYC and her many adventures as she makes friends and brings lots of influence to people at her dream job.

Also, what is a romance story without romance? Which is charming by the way. So by combining romance, sweet Anna, and the delightful backdrop of NYC you get a wonderful read that will stick with you even after you have finished this book. This author has gained a new fan in me. I look forward to what the author has in store with her next book. In the meantime I will be checking out her past books.
