Book Review: Of All Seasons

Can the wrong romantic getaway lead to the right person?

Christian Beckett had his life mapped out—steady career, beautiful girlfriend, and a plan to take the next step on a wintry Valentine's trip to Italy’s Amalfi Coast.

But from the moment they arrive, the romantic getaway falls apart—and so does everything he thought he wanted.

For Alessia Rossi, it’s just an off-season job. Another happy couple to tour guide. She never expected the handsome American to notice her, or share her love for beauty in the ordinary. He reminds her how it feels to be truly seen, and to want something she can’t have.

Rainy walks, shared laughter, and a Vespa ride along the cliffs—what starts as a tour, deepens. Every glance says more than words, every touch threatens
the line they both know they shouldn’t cross.

Christian sees not just Italy differently, but himself. Now he must decide: follow the life he planned … or the love he never saw coming.

Because sometimes, the right person arrives at the wrong time—and changes everything.

Dual pov (3rd person, limited to the FMC and MMC pov in alternating chapters), slooow burn, open door romance, where the setting is a character too. The perfect mix of heartfelt moments, yearning, laughter, and heat.

My Review

Alessia is the type of travel guide that I would want if I was on vacation and wanted to learn about the location. She is so friendly and knowledgeable. She really went out of her way to research all the various locations that Christian and his girlfriend, Christine would enjoy visiting. Too bad that Christine is not living in the moment but through her phone. She is an "influencer".

As soon as I met Christine, I could not stand her. The fact that Christian stayed with her as long as he did, shows that he is a good guy. Yet the slow sparks that bloomed between Alessia and Christian were great.

"He'd cross an ocean for it, and she was letting him in."

I instantly was transported to Italy’s Amalfi Coast with this book. This might be the closest I ever get to visiting Italy. It was like I could picture all of the places, food, clothing, people, and smells reading this book. Lily is an amazing storyteller.

If you are a new reader to Lily or an established one, you are going to absolutely LOVE this book! It is not to be missed.
