Audiobook Review: Hunt You Down
I thought I escaped hell when I ran from the Sanctuary.
Eden
I was wrong.
Hell found me on a Valentine's Day auction block, where men in black ties bid on virgins like livestock. Where the highest bidder owns you—body, mind, and soul.
Vaughn Sutherland paid more for me than most people see in a lifetime.
He put me in a room with silk sheets and locked doors. He touched me in ways that made me forget my own name. He never took what he bought, only taught me how much my body could betray me.
So I ran.
I made it three days before he found me.
They say the devil is patient. They say he's cruel.
They don't know Vaughn.
He gave me freedom after he dragged me back—a house instead of a cell, choices instead of chains. But every door I open leads back to him. Every breath I take, he owns.
And the worst part?
I'm starting to forget why I wanted to leave.
The Sanctuary stole her childhood. Vaughn Sutherland bought her virginity. And when she runs? He'll hunt her down and teach her that the only freedom she'll ever have is the kind he gives her.
Contains a hero who thinks love is ownership, patience is a weapon, and Valentine's Day is the perfect excuse to buy something priceless.
My Review
Eden finds herself trafficked. She is placed up for auction. Luckily for her she is brought by Vaughn. Originally, Eden thought Vaughn would be like the other men, but she discovered that he is not like them. He may be morally black, but his heart is not all black.
Vaughn helping Eden to express herself and discover her own sexuality is hot! Gimmie all the spice. Vaugh's morally black side does come out later in the story.
Grab the audiobook version as it is one you will want to listen to. It is narrated by Audrey Obeyn and Tor Thom. I love Audrey. I have listened to a couple different audiobooks voiced by Audrey. This is the first time I have heard Tor's voice and got to say that I will definitely be checking out more audiobooks voiced by Tor.
