My Review
I have read several books by this author and really enjoyed them all. So, I was sure I would love this book just as much. Which, I did but I have to say that Dana surprised me not once but multiple times. After the first surprise, that I was still recovering from, she goes and throws in the next one and soon after another twist. I am really looking forward to reading book two. War of the Sea is a seaworthy must read!
Captain Rylander Bordeaux aka Ry and Captain Elouise Farrington aka Lou are two good sea captains. However, i back Lou more and not just because she is a female captain. she just is bolder. Once, you get to know Ry's story, you will understand him better. I love that the romance between these two did not happen for a very long time into the story. Even if there was no romantic relationship between these two, I would still be fine with it. the fact that the romance came later shows that this book is more than just a fantasy romance.
