For a long time, I believe there is only one man doing this. His cruelty and obsession simply wearing different moods like a living god who punishes and absolves at whim.

By the time I learn the truth, that there are in fact two of them, that they are twins, it’s already too late. I no longer remember who I was before they remade me.

And I don’t know if that loss terrifies me…or if surrendering to it is the only way I can survive.

My Review

Leandra and Lazarus do not have a straightforward romance or journey to be together. It is full of deceit, sacrifice, and blood will be spilled. Yet, the bond that these two share with each other is strong.

First off, this book is categorized as erotic horror not dark romance. There is a big difference between these two genres. While there is a HEA, most erotic horrors do not have a HEA. Also with this genre, I would say the stories are pitch black vs. morally grey. So, if you are not ready for dark, dark reads that do include gore, then I would stay away from this book but if you don't really have triggers, by all means jump right into this book. 

May I recommend though that if you are an audiobook fan that you grab the ALC. Performed in duet by Juniper Reyes & Joe Arden. Yes, y0u read this right. The ALC has Joe narrating.
