My Review
I liked the fact that Mia and Aleks were really good friends prior to their "fake engagement". Them having to pretend was just the push they needed to cross that line. I know neither one of them wanted to ruin their friendship. It is because of their friendship that they were able to build on it and grow closer. 

The romance through between Aleks and Mia is a slow burn one. Which I liked as this allowed me to get to see the progression with Aleks and Mia. In addition, that there is an emotional side to the story. So, when there was a steamy scene, it was a nice morsel. 

This book is an enjoyable, lovely read. Friends to lovers is the name of the game. 


Save Your Breath is book four in the Kings of the Ice series: a series of interconnected standalones following a team of professional hockey players and the women who bring them to their knees. They do not need to be read in order, but you will gain glimpses of future characters/couples in each book.
