A very short story about female revenge. 

Nourishment by Gareth Ian Davies

Beware lawn companies that use the word "bargain" vs. contract. I was instantly drawn to this story. It was creepy. Just what I liked. It would make the hairs on your arms stand up. Despite the story being short, I never felt like anything was missing. I will be checking this author's other work. 

The Pale Mother by Nova B. Quinn

This story is one that I could definitely see as a movie. It is creepy and sinister. You have a couple trying to find their daughter in the woods. The woods that everyone has warned to never go into. While there is evil, once I understood where the evil was born from; I actually kind of sided with this side. 

The Hours in Between by Memo Rable

What if you could get a second chance at a do over. 

The Blooming Curse - Hannah Gardiner

I really enjoyed this story. Instantly, I was drawn into it and the characters. The author makes you feel for everyone...good or bad. I will be checking out more books by this author. 

The Curse of Obsession - Loren Sorensen

Dance, dance, dance! How fast can you dance. If you like The Black Swan, you will really enjoy this dark ballet story. 

Foxglove - Stacey LP

Be careful what you wish for. Also watch out for the green-eyed fox.

Scorpion Grass - Grace Vice

Another story about female empowerment. I liked this story. All I can say is that the men in the story deserved their fate. 

The Kidnappings of Tengora - Mehdi Fakhrahmad/Isaac Lotharus

This story brings the humor. You never know what you are going to get from Mehdi/Isaac. I know that a well-endowed Giant was not on my BINGO card.

Yuafen - Alex Upchurch

A quick, steamy vampire love story

Beautiful Suffering - Alex Upchurch

An interesting story but wished it was longer. I did not have a enough time to really connect with the characters to fully embrace the story. 

Spit and Spite and All Things Night - Ellen Winter

This is a story that I did have to reread. One because there was a lot to unpack and two because I was trying to wrap my head around the story. I mean this in a good way.
