Book Review: Chill

One month. That’s all it takes for everything to unravel.

For weeks, I try returning to normal, to forget the men who turned me into a killer against my will. At first, I convince myself I could be happy—at least I think I should be.

But I’m not. I can’t be.

When I find them, I realize what they’re doing. If I want them—if I want this—I have to accept what they truly are.

Monsters.

But what if they’re not the only ones? Maybe I’ve been like this all along—or maybe they made me this way. Either way, even though they say I can leave, I wonder if it’s already too late.

Maybe it’s been too late since the moment I met them.

Please read the content warnings at the beginning of the book. This book is dark, with content that could bother some readers. CHILL is a short, spicy novella, and the conclusion of the Fair’s Fair trilogy. It’s MMF, and doesn’t end with a cliffhanger.

My Review

This book is the final chapter in Noa, Kieran and Val's story. AJ has taken us on quite the journey with these three. Their story has been spread throughout three books. You can see the progression of their relationship through these books.

Noa is not the same girl that she started out. In fact, she is no longer a girl but a woman.

"I need them, just like they need me."

When Noa saw the guys again. You could tell that they were surprised but very happy. That first moment when Val came stalking across the camper and claimed Noa. Once he kissed her, I realized that I had been holding my breath in anticipation. I am so glad to see these three get their HEA.

Readers of this three are going to really enjoy this final book in this trilogy.
