Book Review: Stolen Embers

Light bringer. Curse breaker. Queen—if she can live that long…

Vale Tenebris never intended to honor the pact with the cursed Beast of a king, nor did she expect to fall so hard for the dragon shifters who saved her life. But when the ruthless Guild infiltrates the kingdom, this witch finds herself caught between impending war and the promise she never meant to keep.

With the kingdom teetering on the brink of destruction and war on the horizon, Vale must uncover the secrets of the ancient curse before the men she loves are stolen from her forever.

And that is only if she can master the wild magic threatening to consume her.

No pressure.

**Stolen Embers is a fiery dragon romantasy set in the Severed Flames universe. Expect three dangerously seductive, fiercely protective dragon shifters who will stop at nothing to keep their mate safe. This book contains mature themes. Reader discretion is advised.**

My Review

In the first book I found that Kian edged out the other two just a little bit more in regard to who I favored. However, in this second book I found that Xavier and Idris became on even level with Kian. The way that these men cared and loved Vale is great.

Vale is becoming a stronger person. She has become more comfortable with the guys. While they share some steamy moments, this story I found to be more emotional. I enjoyed this as it allowed me to see everyone connecting and growing closer. There are a few really emotional scenes.

This was a quick read for me. I look forward to continuing this series with the next book.
