Book Review: Hard to Swallow
Online dating in your thirties will make even the most optimistic person skeptical. When Margo comes across Adam’s profile with a bit of scrutiny, she takes a chance on the extremely handsome pharmacist. Meanwhile, all Adam needs to swipe right is Margo’s chestnut brown eyes and her occupation as a community college professor. Through flirty texts, their connection is magnetic—almost too good to be true.
After an incredible, once in a lifetime date, Margo does what any woman with trust issues would do—she runs. Fortunately for Adam, she doesn’t get far, and he discovers why she’s avoiding the one person who may understand her better than she thinks.
Hard to Swallow is an instalove, high-spice, romantic comedy novella, intended for mature audiences. Just because it’s a good time, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check your content warnings.
My Review
Adam is so caring towards Margo. The way that he never pushed Margo to go too far and always thought of her comfort. In addition, to making sure she knew how beautiful she is. The intimate moments between these two were not only steamy but they felt emotional as well, which made the scenes that much better.
I really enjoyed this book. Where Margo and Adam are concerned, I could not stop smiling with each of their interactions. The innuendos that were featured in this book are funny. It only made it funnier that a lot of the comments were made in public. The poor waiters. This is one book that you are going to want to read!
