Book Review: Misguided Vows

We met because of a job.

We played because he made a bet.

We carried on because we couldn’t stop.

Now we’re in too deep, and the secrets of our pasts will catch up.

It’s supposed to only be a fling, but it’s started a fire.

One that we’re both in denial about.

My Review

As soon as I started reading this book, I was already hooked. Will and Alina giving me major enemies to lovers' vibes. Well maybe not so much enemies but their first meet up with each other was not the best. Yet, I am not surprised as I love this powerhouse duo of T.L. and Kia.

I absolutely love Will. I could not get enough of him. All of the cheeky comments he said are pure gold. Yet, the way that he would wait until Alina was drinking something to catch her off guard is hilarious. It made it even better due to the fact that he has a British accent. I could picture his smirky grin every time that he riled up Alina.

Alina, I don't blame you for giving into Will or I should say under and on top of him. Alina's mom immediately becoming best friends with Will and then her comment about him playing games with himself is hilarious!
