My life was perfect.
Perfect husband. Perfect house. Perfect marriage.

I was a Nancy Meyers mood board.

But you know how the saying goes…
“Everything perfect ends with your husband banging his assistant.”

Life wasn’t supposed to be like this. Male patterned sluttiness wasn’t in our vows.

But here I sit, with barely dry divorce papers, flying first class to the Bliss Babes Retreat—a women-only escape in Malibu run by my sister, Moonbeam. She promises it’ll help me reset, get grounded, and figure out what I actually want out of life.

I’ll give you one guess…it’s not yoga. But I figure at the very least I’ll get a margarita and some sunshine. And I could use a pocketful.

But then somewhere between the ocean breeze and a very steamy outdoor shower incident what flashes before my eyes isn’t my reconciled past…

It’s better.

Three devastatingly gorgeous twenty-eight-year-olds with sun-warmed skin, tattoos that make me drool, and smiles that have my pulse tripping over itself.

I may be a forty-year-old divorcée who’s never once stopped pretending in the bedroom, but something tells me that’s about to change.

My Review

There is nothing better after signing divorce papers than to travel to a holiday destination where three younger, hot lifeguards are at. To quote Margot's sister, it is time to active Margot's "Discovery era".

Brody, Brooks, and Wells. What can I say about these guys other than, I am in need of some mouth to mouth. Margot interacting with the guys had me laughing out loud. She is awkward. Warning as objects will get thrown and no guy is safe! 

I was not expecting the David Attenborough narrating Margot's life story section. Hearing David's voice as he spoke about Margot is pure gold. 

Comin' in Hot is a must read. Actually, if you are looking for your "hot girl" summer read, this book will hit the mark!
