My Review
This is a really cute book. It helped teach a lesson, which is always very important in kid lit books. To be educational as well as fun to read. In this book, readers meet Charlie. Charlie is very picky about his food, clothing, and activites.
He soon realizes that by not willing to try new things, he has isolated himself from making new friend. Charlie learns that trying new things is exciting. He makes new friends and even eat a smore. What is really cool about this book is that the last two pages of it are blank to allow your child to draw and write up their own story.
Meet the Author: My passion for children's literature stems from 30+ years in education and my re-entry into bedtime stories with the addition of my beautiful grandchildren. I created Charlie as a means for children to learn with Charlie by having a growth mindset when it comes to facing new experiences and learning new things. Children live in a world that is traveling ever faster and my desire is to help them slow down and enjoy childhood through the adventures of Charlie Chaloosy. I hope children have fun with Charlie while engaging their minds through stories that encourage them to read, write, illustrate, and dream a little. connect with author: website ~ facebook ~ instagram Tour Schedule: Jan 22 –Faith and Books – book review / giveaway Jan 22 - Bound 4 Escape – book review / giveaway Jan 23 – icefairy's Treasure Chest – book review / giveaway Jam 23 - Cheryl's Book Nook – book review / giveaway Jan 24 – Kim's Book Reviews and Writing Aha's – book review / guest post / giveaway Jan 25 –Library Lady's Kid Lit – book review / author interview / giveaway Jan 25 –FUONLYKNEW – book review / author interview / giveaway Jan 26 – mamof9 – book review Jan 26 - Rockin' Book Reviews – book review / guest post / giveaway Jan 29 – Liese's Blog – book spotlight Jan 29 - A Mama's Corner of the World - book review / giveaway Jan 30 –Splashes of Joy – book review / giveaway Jan 30 - Paws.Read.Repeat – book review / giveaway Jan 31 –Country Mamas With Kids – book review / guest post / giveaway Jan 31 – regallywritten – book review / giveaway Feb 1 –Pause for Tales – book review / giveaway Feb 1 -Bizwings Book Blog – book review / author interview / giveaway Feb 1 - @enjoyingbooksagain - book review Feb 2 –Peaceful Pastime – book review / giveaway Feb 2 – Bigreadersite – book review / giveaway Feb 5 - Sandra's Book Club – book review Feb 6 – Locks, Hooks and Books – book review / giveaway Feb 7 – Gina Rae Mitchell – book review / guest post / giveaway Feb 7 – fundinmental – book spotlight / giveaway Feb 8 – Character Madness and Musing – book spotlight / author interview / giveaway Feb 8 - Cover Lover Book Review – book review / giveaway Feb 9 - My Reading Getaway – book review |
