Book Review: Beckoning of the Blooded

Stolen from the Court of Moon, Milana finds herself in strange company. Company she never thought she’d be in again. Axis has spun out of control, working for new king to keep his life. But he’s gone too far this time, and when the Dark King gets a hold him, he’ll wish he hadn’t taken the Dark Queen’s life into his own hands.

The Dark King is spiraling within himself in the dark abyss of his own self-loathing. He knew he shouldn’t have let Milana go alone into the kingdom. But he had. And now she’s gone. Eurelia speaks prophecy, as if it’ll cure what ails him, but it will not.

Not until his queen is returned.

The Dark Queen must forge down a path no one saw coming in this third installment in the Promethean Fae Series. And it’s a path that could make or break the entire world. Not just the dimensions the Fae dwell within.

My Review

If you have been following along in this series with these books, you are in for a treat with this book. I felt like it was a lot of Milana show. I have really seen the growth from her as each book progresses. She is becoming quite the queen. It was nice to get to learn more about Milana's past childhood and how she came to be.

Anwynn's love for Milana has also grown stronger, especially when he discovers her taken and he realizes just how much he loves her. The fight to get her back is powerful. I would not want to be on his bad side.

There is another couple that I wanted to mention. It is Elvenia and Latamier. I really liked these two. I thought they make a good couple.

Regarding, fantasy series, this is one to read. It features a great storyline and engaging characters.
