Book Review: One More Bite

He’s waited eighty years to find her. She was just trying to survive a bachelorette party.

When Hazel walks into the Monster Resort, the last thing she expects is to become the obsession of a fiercely lonely vampire. Desmond is cold, most certainly lethal, and looking at her like she’s the only thing keeping him sane. As the chaotic weekend pushes them closer together, Hazel has a choice: run back to her safe, mundane life, or surrender to the monster who promises to never let her go.

This short story features explicit scenes, consensual blood-drinking, and an eighty-year accumulation of looking for his blood-bound. Hide your necks and read responsibly!

Any book in the Monster Resort series can be read as a standalone.

My Review

It is always a fun time when I check into the Monster Resort. This time Desmond is on the hunt to find his blood mate. As soon as he gets her scent, he gets up close and very personal with Hazel. Hazel thought she was just attending her sister's wedding. She did not realize that she would find her "forever".

I love how possessive Desmond is with Hazel. It was funny when Hazel's sister caught the two in the bedroom. I love how much Desmond allowed Hazel to make up her mind if she wanted to become immortal, despite the fact that she was his blood mate. This novella is one that you will love to sink your fangs into. It is a steamy, quick read.
