Book Review: Lit

“I think you missed one.” A tall, brunette woman extends a candelabra to me. A rather ornate model. “Hope it gives you everything you need.”

Following a routine trip into town to replace his missing candle holders, Greg realizes he has received much more than he paid for.

Add an injured runner looking for a place to wait out a storm, and Greg has his hands full.

While attempting to better understand the candelabra, the group learns Greg has a much larger secret of his own. Will it cause a schism, or bring them all closer than ever?

Lit is book 15 in the Kyleverse, a series of sentient object romance short stories. Kyle isn’t the main character, but he shows up to help the plot in one way or another. The stories are sequential but can be read as standalones.

My Review

A fun novella in this series. Just when you think you have thought of all the sentient object romances, Nicole goes nope...wrong. We have all watched Beauty and the Beast but how many of us looked at Lumière and thought "Yeah, I choose him". Don't fool yourself. So, if this is you, then, this novella is for you.

I liked the addition of the candelabras and Greg. If there was ever a play to wait out a storm, it is Kyle's. A fun and steamy time is had for both Kyle and Greg. Things go bump in the night.
