Book Review: The Grump Next Door

She’s a Scrooge in stilettos, and he's the soft Dom who oozes Christmas spirit.

Amanda Inglis doesn't do Christmas.
Not the carols. Not the tinsel. Definitely not the smiling.
So working someone else's celebration in a quiet Scottish seaside village until December blows over seemed like the perfect plan… until she meets the man in the room next door.

Henry James is sunshine wrapped in a sunshine-smiled, calloused-handed package, with a filthy streak he keeps under wraps. The manor gardener is adored by everyone in Otterleigh Bay, from the village elders to his chaotic found family, who immediately decide Amanda belongs.

But Amanda has no interest in belonging to anything. Or anyone.
Until Henry's helpful hands and cheeky smiles get harder and harder to ignore.

Soon she’s swept into holiday chaos in Otterleigh Bay: snowy village events, appeasing her wealthy clients, and enough fairy lights to light a small nation. Not to mention the donkey with a taste for designer clothing.

Henry shouldn’t get under her skin.
He shouldn’t make her laugh.
He definitely shouldn’t make her want again.

Even worse?
He’s good with his hands.
And even better with his mouth.
And when he calls her Princess, he gets harder to resist.

Amanda wants to run, but with Henry… she’s starting to wonder what it might feel like to stay.

The Grump Next Door is perfect for fans of reverse grumpy x sunshine, festive small town fun, and spicy workplace romance. Unwrap your next feel‑good escape for the holidays

My Review

LOL. I loved this book. This grumpy/sunshine book is just what you need to add to your holiday reading list. You will laugh and fall in love with Amanda and Henry. The Grump Next Door is both nice and naughty. The best of both worlds.

Amanda is a grump. She would bring anyone down if they stayed around her too long. Henry is the complete opposite. Amanda may not like Henry, but he is slowly warming himself into her heart.

"I gripped his shirt to steady myself. To demand more."

Each close encounter between Henry and Amanda got hotter and hotter. This grump's frown turned upside down into a smile.
