Book Review: For My Baby

I didn’t know I could fall that fast. But I didn’t want to fall alone.

TEX
When I saw her across the bar, I fell head over heels in an instant. But at the end of our night together, she left without giving me a way to find her. She came back two weeks later with news that rocked my world in just about every way imaginable. Now I had to figure out a way to convince Maryann I wanted to be with her, despite the unexpected circumstances surrounding our relationship.

MARYANN
None of this was supposed to happen. It wasn’t part of the plan. Not Tex, not our night together, not anything that came after that night. My life was perfect just the way it was. But a handsome cowboy swooped in and changed everything. He said and did all the right things, but I couldn’t tell if he was really with me for
me.

My life wasn’t about just me anymore, and I wasn’t sure trust would be enough.

My Review

Tex and Maryann are so adorable together. Tex is a true gentleman. The way that he stepped up instantly and cared for Maryann and their baby is very endearing. I liked seeing Maryann and Tex interacting with each other. They truly did love each other, even if their relationship moved fast.

They seemed so much more mature than in their early twenties. They handled the situation with more grace than a lot of college students would in today's world.

Ahh, I enjoyed this book. It is a quickie read. Sweet and steamy. I do plan to check out more books by this author.
