My Review

This is a cute picture book. It will get young children interested in chemistry. I know I even learned some reading this book to me niece. I was not familiar with some of the words. Speaking of the words; some of them are quite big. Too big for young children to pronounce themselves. The illustrations are great.

The book is a nice hardback that can withhold repeated bumping or hard times. As we know young children are not always the most careful with books. I would recommend this book to any children interested in science or chemistry. We need more children interested in STEM; especially girls.

Meet the Author:

When Christi Sperber was pregnant with her first daughter, Emma, she wanted to add STEM books to Emma’s bookshelf. But the Mom who has a Master’s in Chemistry noticed that there weren’t many chemistry-related books available for babies and toddlers. The few that did exist, she noticed, weren’t factually correct. That’s when Sperber had an idea: launch her own publishing company - Nanoscale Scientists Publishing LLC – to introduce young kids to the wonderful world of science at an early age.
