Audiobook Review: Bound

After ten years of captivity and torture, Cherry finally escapes the clutches of the humans who slaughtered her family. But now she’s stuck in her wolf form, and completely unprepared for what comes next.

On the run from the facility that experimented on her, Cherry pushes herself to the brink… until her body gives out. When she wakes, she’s certain she’s been caught again.

Instead, she finds herself surrounded by five alpha wolf shifters who seem intent on helping her.

They refuse to let her out of their sight. Their kindness confuses her, not just because she hasn’t seen a glimpse of it in over a decade, but because she feels an equal pull to all five of them.

Which is impossible.

Everyone knows a wolf shifter can only have one fated mate, which is revealed when they lock eyes in their human forms.

But what happens if Cherry can never shift, and she’s stuck as a wolf forever? Worse, what happens when the males she’s starting to trust discover the truth?

That the facility didn’t just torture her.

They killed her.

Over and over again.

My Review

This book jumps right into the action. Cherry is a fighter. She maybe a beta but she has the fighting spirit of an alpha. I love all of the guys. I honestly can't pick a favorite amongst the guys. They each had qualities that I loved. All I know is that the connection that they all share as a pack is great.

Understanding that Cherry has gone through a very traumatic ordeal, they do not push. Due to what Cherry went through, there is a communication barrier between her and the guys. This barrier actually made this book really good. It was nice to see how the guys navigated this with Cherry.  What an ending. I need book two now.

Listen to the ALC version of this book. Performed in duet multicast by Lilly Drake, Aiden Snow, Anthony Palmini, Oliver Highpoint, Liam DiCosimo, & Ryan Lee Dunlap. You are going to want to hear this amazing cast voice all of the characters. This book is good but the audiobook with the full cast made it even better.

***Bound is book one in The Caged Wolf trilogy and ends in a cliffhanger. It's a hurt/comfort, why choose, MFMM+, romance novel with dark themes. No mm/ff/cheating/owd. The FMC will not have to choose between her love interests. For a full list of trigger warnings please visit: ShonaKnight dot com
