Book Review: A Deal for a Kiss

Nothing could hide her from me.

The darkness is everywhere and it moves about in the mortal realm….
And then there’s her. Bright and so easily seen.

Mine.

She calls to me like I prayed to the Gods she would.
I should feel guilt for what I’m going to do. What I must do.
She doesn’t remember, but I do. She belongs to me.

I will claim her and bring her to the underworld as mine.
At all costs… nothing will keep me from what belongs to me.

My Review

This novella is a quick read. It sets the mood for the full-length story of Ivy and Carlisle. Long lost lovers, Hades and Persephone. To continue their story, read His in the Dark.

Ivy thought that she was just a normal human. This is until Carlisle takes her. Ivy should be afraid but yet, she feels a connection to Carlisle. Carlisle has imagined this day for so long. Waiting for Ivy to be back in his arms.

"Here is where we will remain forevermore"

This novella is low spice. However, it is the characters that I enjoyed the most. I know I want more and will be reading His in the Dark.
