Alexis "Lexi" and FBI Agent Juan started out as enemies but years later their perspective of each other changed. I liked the first chapter where Lexi and Juan were back in the present. Juan is right that Lexi is feisty. Not that there is anything wrong with a feisty woman. 

Years later when these two meet up again, you could tell that they have both matured. There is respect for each other, and they worked well together. The touch of romance is sweet. I like the slow burn element. There are real emotions shared between Juan and Lexi. 

You are going to want to make sure you read this story by Laura. If you are a new reader or fan, you will fall for Juan and Lexi as well as Laura.
