My Review

I loved this book so much. I remember going to visit and hang out at my Nana's house when I was a young girl. My sister and I would play hide and seek and go to the grocery store and pick up ice cream to eat at the house. These were great memories.

So, reading this book brought back those memories. Daisy is so lucky that she lives so close to her Grammie and Pupa. She shares a great loving relationship with them. She sure kept busy hanging out with them. She helped Pupa string and raise the American flag, planted string beans, baked with Grammie, and even played games with Grammie and Aunt Hazel.

This book will have young readers excited to read and even talking about their found times with Grammie and Pupa. Very easy book to read that young readers can read without much adult assistance.
