My Review

The opening scene of this book grabbed my attention. Instantly, I was sucked into this story. It is dark and twisty. It does touch on mental health among other things. So do check the triggers first or if you are ok with everything and want to go into this book blind do so. It is an experience. The gorgeous and haunting world that Dawn created is great.

This book features three main characters, Brooks, Xia, and Lytta. Although Brooks is the main voice as a lot of the story is viewed through his point of view. For the darkness, I thought Lytta was a nice addition. She was the lightness. As the story progressed, I did become more immersed in it.
