Image
It was never going to be just one night. Not when it burned this hot. Firefighter Reece Morgan is the station flirt.  Tattooed, reckless, and always up for a laugh or a hook-up.  He’s made a name for himself across Worthbridge, and he’s fine with that. No strings. No drama. No need for more. Until one heated night in a sauna  changes everything. Trent Lawson thought it would be just sex.  One night to forget , to shut off the noise inside his head. But the fire Reece ignites won’t stop burning. Not in his skin. Not in his chest. Not when every emergency throws them back together, stoking something far deeper, and  far more dangerous . Reece isn’t used to caring. Not really. But Trent  isn’t just another fling . Behind his sharp tongue and cool control, Reece sees the exhaustion, the cracks, the way Trent’s numbing himself with all the wrong things. And for once, Reece doesn’t want to walk away.  He wants to fight.  For Trent. For every...

Book Review: Crazy in Love

Image
A Small Town, Billionaire, Enemies to Lovers, Grumpy/Sunshine, Standalone Romance from USA Today and Amazon #1 Bestselling Author, Laura Pavlov. Emilia Taylor hates me, which is absolutely fine by me, because I don’t particularly care much for her either. Maybe I took things too far, but I decided she was the enemy a long time ago, and she gave me no reason to think differently. At least not until recently. And when she sets her mind to prove me wrong, she goes all in. I’m willing to admit when I’m wrong―because it sure as hell doesn’t happen very often. But being vulnerable with a woman I was convinced was out for my family is a big pill to swallow. So, I’d rather send her a fancy gift and call this vendetta done. However, she is anything but predictable. She doesn’t want a fancy gift from a man who she’s declared a broody heartless billionaire. Her words not mine. And it’s not like you can send flowers to a woman who owns a floral shop. She wants a sincere apology instead but t...

Book Review: These Eternal Bones

Image
Her - Stowing away on the nearest vessel wasn’t the best plan when I left everything I’d ever known in the middle of the night. Promising the captain coin I did not possess only drove the nail deeper into my coffin. The moment a storm knocks us off course, damaging the ship, I run. But There’s more than meets the eye in the foggy town of Port Clyde , its onyx lighthouse standing like a beacon, or a warning. Him - Many things can be said about eternity. Soul binding love squandered life and life again by elephantine heartache . So I wait, trapped in this godforsaken town by a long dead coven . I wait, unable to follow, unable to bleed every corner of the earth in search of her. This time when she finds her way back. I will keep her safe, alive,  mine , even if she hates me. But what a beautifully gilded cage it will be. My Review As soon as I met Elric, I felt drawn to him. I liked him right away. Molly, I liked too but she more grew on me as the story progressed. I say her ...

Book Review: Twi-Flight

Image
Set in Ghostlight Falls, the coolest fictional small town in the Pacific Northwest,   Twi-Flight  is a standalone cozy paranormal not-quite-a-vampire romance with a mysterious MMC with super human strength and a sharp bite, and FMC who is determined to learn all his secrets. It is a novella with wholesome Hallmark movie vibes and a good amount of steam. My Review Ahh. Yet it is probably more like AHHHHH!! I love this novella. A someone who has raised chickens, this book is a hoot. I loved everything about this story from the magical chickens to Eggward calling Mina "chickadee". You could say that I had a "cracking" good time reading this novella! The best part is Eggward being a full-grown rooster. I was ready for him to be a vampire like Mina thought but the reveal of Eggward being a rooster was even better. Although, I must admit that I never had hooking up with a rooster on my BINGO card. Yet, I should not be surprised by any of the residents of Ghostlight Falls....

Book Review: The Lost Kings

Image
I was always told people grew roots where they were planted. But mine developed between the hearts of two brothers. For as long as I could remember, they were my protectors, living on the opposite end of the manor. It was when I turned eight that I realized the truth. The twins were never supposed to protect me. It was the other way around and I would grow up to be the one that kept our family safe. As time went on, they were forced to watch while I was broken and reshaped into the weapon needed to break us free from the cage our family had been forced into. I always assumed the twins understood. But when I became old enough to accept my fate, they slapped it away and tried to show me a different choice. Even with my heart in their hands, I tried to make them see that there was no other path for me to walk. They left, abandoning the family and destroying those roots that had kept us together. Without them, we were forced to align with a powerful enemy. But when it’s discovered ho...
