My niece will really enjoy this book as well. The illustrations are beautiful. They are like portraits of watercolor paintings. Which really helped to bring this book to life. The author does a great job of telling the story of the Shepherdess. Along her walk she encounters a ram, ewe, lamb, and a wether with a crystal bell to help lead the Shepherdess home. The best part of this book is the recording by the author of this book. You have to check out this book.
