At the resort, Julia literally falls into a not-quite-meet-cute involving an aggressive seagull and an adorably awkward guy named Luke who is also participating in the rom-com experience. Julia hides the fact she is there to do a story, but Luke harbors a few secrets of his own. Among further encounters with thieving seagulls, a gaggle of corgis, kisses in the rain, and even a karaoke serenade, their feelings deepen quickly. But could their love be real when they haven't been honest about their true identities? Once the fantasy is over, can they have a relationship in the real world?


My Review

I am a fan of author, Melonie Johnson. I read all of the books in her Sometimes in Love series. So, I was very excited to read this newest offering from Melonie. Too Good to Be Real is a fun, charming, and funny read. 

Can there be such a thing as the "perfect rom-com"? That is what Luke is trying to plan. Only he can't tell the guess. Thus the predicament that he finds himself in with Julia. He has fallen for her. Yet, how will she react when she finds out he planned the whole resort's romantic adventure. 

You can't plan the "perfect" romantic time as Luke and Julia learn. This book is a real feel good read that will have you smiling and wanting more.
