Book Review: Shattered

Savi

Knox Stone is the one man I hate to want.
He’s moody...
Controlling...
Goes out of his way to make my life miserable when we’re together.
He also saved me that night.
He’s the only one who knows my darkest secret.
The one person my body feels safe with and craves.
The only one who can set me free from the monster who still haunts me.

Knox

Savi Montgomery has always been the one light in my constant darkness.
She’s my best friend’s younger sister.
The one girl I want, but can never have.
Hating me is safer than believing I can give her more.
She may think I’m her savior, but all I do is destroy.
One touch from her and I lose all control.
She makes me feel less broken...
Less shattered...
Now that I’ve got a taste of her, I don’t think I have the strength to let her go.

When I agree to help her break free of her past, I never expect to be set free from mine.

My Review

OMG. I love this book. I devoured it so fast! Yes, to the spice but the emotions and witty banter for the win!

Savi and Knox's relationship started out when they were younger. Now that they are older and in a forced proximity situation (of sorts), they feelings are stronger and real. Quickly, before I get into Savi and Knox's relationship, I do want to take a moment to comment on how much I love Savi's brothers. The family group chat is pure gold.

Ok, back to Knox and Savi. Due to a bad prior relationship, Savi is more cautious with her heart. Yet, because Knox saved her years ago, he understands her. It is the little things that Knox did for Savi that had me swooning for him.

This book is not to be missed! I can't wait for the next book.
