Book Review: Crimson Ice

I was left battered and bruised, missing pieces of my body and soul that I would never get back. One by one, they burrowed into my heart and gave me the strength I lacked to stand tall and fight for myself, my freedom, and my future. As we untangle the web of pain and deceit, the truth is revealed. Can I survive the storm, or will I forever be frozen in time by crimson ice?

My Review

I liked this book. I am a fan of why choose romance reads. This one featured four sexy hockey players. All four of the guy's Tate, Beckett, Jaxon, and Logan are good. They cared for Arianna. After the horrific ordeal that Arianna endured, she needed the guys.

While I did like this book, I found myself not connecting as deeply as I have with the last several most recent books. The intimate scenes are spicy, and I am glad to see Arianna slowly working through her trauma. Which that opening scene is a little harsh to read and for anyone who may have experienced this in the past, please take care of your mental health.

Still a fan of Emily's writing.

THIS IS A DARK ROMANCE WITH HEAVY TRIGGERS. READER'S DISCRETION IS HIGHLY ADVISED.
