Book Review: Snowed in at Hallow's Cove

Learning to ski is hard enough without a Yeti making you weak in the knees.

Daphne thought she finally found her family with her wealthy fiancé. So much so that the fact that he’s her professor seems like an unimportant detail. But when he drags her to a snowy monster ski town called Hallow’s Cove, it’s not for romance (or even fun). No, it’s so she can “learn not to embarrass him” during the annual family ski trip. Between the constant corrections and the way he cuts her down in front of people, she doesn’t feel like a bride-to-be so much as a student who’s already flunked the course.

Then she crashes—literally—into the arms of Andri, a ridiculously hot yeti ski instructor who actually thinks her wipeouts are cute. Suddenly she’s drinking cocoa without side-eye, laughing until her cheeks hurt, and maybe falling for someone kind with actual warmth under all that fur.

Will Daphne stick with the security of the pompous professor, or hit a 180 into the messy, thrilling kind of love that doesn’t come with a syllabus?

This is a cozy, sweet and steamy monster romance novella that takes place in the small town of Hallow's Cove, a shared world in a multi-author series. Snowed in features a klutzy historian FMC whose terrible on skis and a golden retriever snowman MMC who just happens to be a ski instructor. My Review

Daphne and Andri are so cute together. Andri has a big heart. He might be big, but he is kind. The way that he took care of Daphne and made sure that she was fine is very endearing. When Andri asked about bed and Daphne told Andri that she did not sleep with strange men that she just met, and he clarified that he was talking about helping her to bed and then sleeping in his own bed was funny.

"I don't need forever right now."

I love Hallow's Cove. This book is a fun addition to this series. The slow burn romance that grew between Andri and Daphne was really good. Daphne realized her worth and all it took was the right guy or Yeti. Get ready to get snowed in with this book.
