Book Review: Can You Take It?

My Review
If you like romantic suspense thrillers, then, you will want to check out this book. The romance is not the main factor of this book. It has a plot that is the main storyline. The relationship between Izel and Richard is secondary. I like that it was not the main plot.
The story I did feel moved at a slower pace than I might have wanted but it is worth it to stick with this book. The last third of the story does pick up. Overall, I did thoroughly enjoy this book.
There is something that Izel is hiding. It is a big piece of why Izel is under Richard's care. Yet, Izel is not ready for Richard to know her secret. The mystery behind who Izel really is, is slowly revealed throughout the storyline. Richard may be a good profiler, but his judgement gets clouded with Izel. The intimate moments that Richard and Izel shared were steamy. I liked when Izel was sassy when speaking with Richard.
