My Review

I could not wait to read this book after getting introduced to Hunter in the prior duet. While, this book is more of a slow burn romance, it is still filled with lots of angsty moments. I really enjoyed getting to know the back history between Hunter and Aurora.

It just added to the story and gave the relationship between Hunter and Aurora more depth. Therefore, when these two finally hooked up it was earthquake shattering. The steam level was off the chart. So, so good. Yet, like any mafia story there will be bloodshed and heartache. Now I am left hanging until the conclusion.
