Book Review: Seven Paper Skies
We were supposed to be best friends forever, but life has a way of throwing curveballs at you.
The time we spent together was something I knew that I would cherish forever.
Forever.
A word I thought meant a lifetime as a child, though now I know it means something different.
I was glad to find him again so we could have one more lifetime together.
I kept my secret as long as I could because I wanted him to remember me as I was, not as what I had become.
Best friends forever or until the road ends?

My Review
OMG. I am not crying, you are crying. I did not realize just how emotionally attached I would become to Dougie and Jellyfish. Yolonda shows you that not every story has to be romantic or have an HEA to be very impactful. A must read. Grab your tissues.
Dougie aka Toad and Betty Jo aka Jellyfish have known each other since they were little kids. Jellyfish and her parents moved away when they were younger but these two meet again in high school. Jellyfish has a secret to share with Dougie. It will affect their friendship.
I was on this emotional journey with Jellyfish and Dougie the whole time. My heart was ripped to shreds and slowly glued back together. I did not fault Jellyfish for any of her actions. She lived her life the way she wanted to and by her own rules. As we all hope to do. She is very luckily that she had such a great friend in Dougie.
