Renting with the Rival
All’s fair in love and real estate…
I’m not much of a New Year’s resolutions kind of girl, but I do have two intentions this January:
1. Find the perfect place to start my yoga studio—hello, independence!
2. Move to my own apartment because twenty-eight’s too old for a roommate, anyway.
When I finally find the perfect building, Parker Atwood has to show up from my past to ruin everything. My high school nemesis is three thousand miles from Hawaii, bidding against me for the one place that checks both goals off my list in one fell swoop.
Grownup Parker with his rock star reputation and smoldering eyes. Parker, whose charismatic smile makes a traitor of my heart.
I should power-walk for the Seattle hills, but he offers me a deal I can’t pass up—rather than outbid me, he’ll split the space with me—and the rent. Yoga studio by day, recording studio for his broody music by night. I can have my dream, but only if Parker comes too.
Now I have two new intentions:
1. Try not to strangle Parker Atwood. It would be bad for business.
2. Don’t fall for him either.
Renting with the Rival is a light, fun, enemies-to-lovers romance packed with chemistry, banter, and rock star vibes. It’s part of the Awkward Arrangements series, so you’ll see recurring characters, but it can be read as a standalone. As always, it comes with a guaranteed HEA! One-click now to start reading.
My Review
Calling all rom com readers. This book is sure to spice up your reading. I have not read the first book in this series but after finishing this one, I do want to go back and read the first book. There were many hilarious moments. I can truthfully say that I had a great, fun time reading this book.
Parker and Molly make a great couple and balanced each other out. They share some witty banter. Not to mention hot sex! I liked that they did not hook up until about midway through the story. This way it felt more real.
The guys in the band helped with the humor as well. They called Parker out. That is what "Bros" are there for right. Renting with the Rival is sure to make the temperature rise even more during these hot summer days and nights!
