My Review

This is the third book. I would suggest reading the books in order as the books are meant to be read that way. There is no background story to catch new readers up to the all of the characters. Yet, if you are a fan of fantasy stories, then, you will enjoy this series.

Alex is a strong female heroine. Plus, I like the fact that she is half elf. It makes her unique. In this book, I got to experience more of Alex's abilities as both a leader and her magical gifts. There is many travels as well in this book. Getting to travel to the different locations for new scenery kept the story interesting and moving along nicely.

The betrayal and the numerous attempts on Alex's live only showed just how strong Alex is. Some of the betrayers were a surprise to me. Reading this book was good times. I look forward to reading more books from this author.
