Book Review: The Infiniteness of Yesterday

An angsty, love triangle romance from bestselling author, Micalea Smeltzer

He was my first love, but it doesn’t mean he’s my last.

I fell in love with Spencer when I was only a teenager. He was the sun, the moon, and the stars in my young eyes. But our lives were turned upside down when I got pregnant. A baby wasn’t part of the plan. Neither was him becoming one of Hollywood’s hottest young actors. Suddenly, he wasn’t mine anymore. He belonged to the world and I was his past and just the girl he had a child with.

He’s my present, but it doesn’t mean he’s my future.

I didn’t expect Jameson, but life works in mysterious ways, giving you what you need when you least expect it. He picked up the pieces of myself that were shattered in the aftermath of Spencer. I’m older now, not blinded with stars in my eyes like I once was. Jameson is my safe harbor in all of life’s storms.

But just like the twinkling stars in the sky, love soars, changes and burns with the passage of time.

When my past returns to collide with my present, only my forever love will remain…

My Review

Harlow, Jameson, and Spencer are all navigating a rocky road with their relationship. Harlow and Spencer will always be in each other's lives because their share a daughter, Roe. Yet, Harlow and Jameson are getting closer.

I liked both men for different reasons. Spencer because he was Harlow's first love and he truly loved/still loves Harlow. It was not all his fault that he and Harlow broke up. Jameson was there to support Harlow and help her find love again. In addition, that he treated Roe as if she was his own child.

I liked seeing Harlow's sister, Willow featured in this story as well. She had a rough road as well but to see her get her HEA was satisfying.

OMG. Micalea does it again. She tugs at my heartstrings with angsty, heartache, and love. Having recently binge watched The Summer I Turned Pretty, I felt Harlow, Jameson, and Spencer's story even more deeply.

I was so invested in this love triangle. Do I think that Harlow made the right choice in the end...YES!! She did it not just for the guy but for herself. Run now and grab this book!!
