Book Review: Grave Sins
I was a pawn in a game I didn’t know I was playing. I was sick of the rules—the abuse. I just wanted to be happy. I wanted to be free. He could have left me to fend for myself, but his demons weren’t loud enough to stop him from saving me. Archer became my peace, my reason for breathing. Not just because he saved me when he didn’t even want to save himself, but because he crawled his way out of the depths of hell. He has seen the depravity lurking in the shadows and chose to do better—to be better.
This is BOOK 2 in the Graveyard of Hearts Collection. You must read Grave Kisses first in order to understand this story. This story contains HEAVY TRIGGERS, so reader's discretion is HIGHLY advised.
My Review
We met Archer in Grave Kisses with his sister, Kendra. This is his story. Kendra found her happy story and this time it is Archer's turn. Yet, like Emily's other books, it is still a dark road to getting his happy ending.
With the help of Kendra and his new wife, Maisy; Archer learns forgiveness and support of love. Maisy and Archer both have their trauma but through pain and heartache, they learn that they can lean on each other.
A quickie read. It was nice to see Kendra again. While there is trauma experienced by all, it is not all dark.
