Book Review: The Price of Mercy

Wishing for things you shouldn't makes them come true.

Like craving the touch of the man who wants to kill you.
Feeling the heat of his lover's jealous gaze.
Or tasting the desire on your best friend's lips.

Some people would call me selfish for wanting three wicked men, but if you knew the strings attached--saw the shadows they keep--you'd pity my heart for the pain. Because these men don't just love--they covet. They bleed. What started as a game becomes a battle for love, and none of us are coming out unscathed.

Playing with hearts has deadly consequences.

Book 2 of the Dying for Love duet, immediately following the events of book 1, Begging for Mercy.
Dark, angsty romance. HEA guaranteed.

My Review

I loved the first book, but this one made me "feral". Already was a big fan of Kane and Zane but the addition of Sam was the icing on the cake! I loved the addition of Sam and so happy he was featured prominently in this book. He is the bit of light in this story as Zane and Kane are the darkness.

Sam and Mercy share a different relationship than Kane, Zane, and Mercy do. Seeing Sam break out of his shell and allow himself more liberty with Mercy was great. Ooh, Mercy, you are one lucky woman.

While I am sad to say goodbye to this group. This book did end nicely for this duet. I loved every moment of this book.
